What we do
Our ROV follows planned lines along the structure, imaging the full surface and recording scour and cracks with depth data. That record becomes the baseline for maintenance and repair planning.
- Cracks, voids and spalling on quay walls
- Corrosion and anode condition on piles and steel
- Scour and fill loss at the toe
- Armour block displacement on breakwaters
- Fender and fitting checks
- Periodic comparable imagery

Frequently asked questions
Can you inspect in turbid water?
Yes. In low visibility we add imaging sonar to the camera, so the structure is recorded acoustically as well.
Do port operations need to stop?
Usually not. The ROV works in a small footprint and we plan the job with the harbour master.
How often should we inspect?
It depends on age and load; annual checks plus a check after major storms suit most facilities.
